Crafts Club

Crafts Club: Art can connect people more deeply to the world and open them to new ways of seeing, creating the foundation to forge social bonds and community cohesion. At RIT we believe that development of artistic skill among student’s leads to creativity, social and emotional development, civic engagement, and equitable opportunity. The RIT Craft Club promote the artistic and creative talent of our students.

Craft club students prepared ‘village setup theme’ with home waste material for the event sankranthi celebrations.

IOT Club

IoT Club: The main aim of the IoT Club is to make the student learn more competent and to improve the skill set. Using this club, students will take part in a number of workshops and study workshops and learn about different IoT applications. Students can learn how to build demo projects for particular applications. This club provides a deeper understanding of IoT technologies so that students can learn how to build their own IoT devices for various technologies. It also helps them turn their product around with their own creative design prototypes, such as home appliances, industrial equipment and control systems.

Objective of IoT Club:

  • To provide a conducive atmosphere for the student learning process.
  • To make the students understand the role of Internet of Things (IoT) with social and global needs.
  • To develop theoretical and practical knowledge of the students and make them skilled professionals by involving them in application-oriented activities, project works and arranging workshops, seminars and industry-oriented programs.
  • To develop the students in adapting to the changing technologies and to be successful in their professional and research works.

Outcomes of IoT Club:

  • Developing engineering designing and implementation knowledge related to the appropriate discipline.
  • Developing problem analysis skill and ability to analyse a problem identify and define the computing requirements appropriate solution.
  • Design and development of solutions, an ability to design, implement, and evaluate and computer-based system, process, component, devices, or program to meet desired needs of solutions.
  • An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences with their project works.
  • An ability to analyse the local and global impact of computing on individuals, organizations, and society.
  • Recognition of the need for and an ability to engage in continuing professional development. An ability to use current techniques, skills, and tools necessary for computing practice.

Web Development Club

Web Development Club: The department students have formed a Web development Club which helps the students to think, discuss and implement ideas into static and dynamic web applications. Students of the department are always motivated to take part in different club activities starting from their second year.  

The purposes of the Web Development Club are as follows:

  • To promote learning and professional growth in the field of web development.
  • To establish a network of like-minded individuals who want to pursue web development.
  • To give back to the Institute and local community by offering web development services to students, faculty, and society.
