Abstract

The development of communication device have been intensively studied, wherein multi Carrier Modulation(MCM) schemes are one of the crucial approach which have high amount of data rate and is highly strong in multipath fading channels. Offset quadrature amplitude modulation (OQAM) based filter bank multicarrier(FBMC) is one of the MCM scheme to satisfy the necessities of necessities of destiny wi-fi configuration. Similar to OFDM and different multicarrier schemes, FBMC also exhibits excessive Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) which leads us to the use of excessive level of amplifiers with high dynamic range. In this paper, Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) approach is used to reduce the PAPR.
